The long walk
with no major inclines allows a varied view of the Ribeira Brava valley and the city.
Starting point
is the only branch of a larger path to the bottom of the Rª in Campinho Sul, about 300 m west of the chapel. After crossing the bed of the Rª das Patas, the path climbs slightly ↗ to overcome the ridge between the Ribeiras. Always remaining on the larger path, one also crosses the Rª de João ↗ and only then one turns the direction ↘, climbs a little up to some houses and then descends to the road.
