Outline of Tracks

This extended walk - mainly horizontal - allows an ever-changing view over the Ribeira Brava valley and the town. Starting point is the branching of the only major
path leading down to the riverbed in Campinho Sul, about 300 m west of the chapel.
After passing the bed of the Rª das Patas, the track leads uphill ì (good, this direction indicates going uphill! Thi is what I
mean. You should check all others) to cross a ridge between the ribeiras. Following always
the major pathway, one reaches the crossing of the Rª de João ì . and only afterwards turns î .
Then it climbs a few small hills. After passing some houses, descend to the road. |
