Outline of Tracks
|
A typically Cape Verdean mule-track; steep double bends glued to the rocks, built the way they are made on the Island of Madeira where the art and tradition of street building stems from. The view over Vila da Rª Brava and the contra bruxa = "anti-witchcraft" flowers (campanula jakobea) show their dark blue colour.
Starting point is the bend of the main road through Cabeçalim between Alto António Miguel and Morro Cone Rocha. [CABE10] (600m) 100m uphill on the paved way ì leads to the pass [CABE11]. After the encounter with the first houses of Palso, [PALSO] the track continues on the ridge ì in order to meet the road. [PALS2] (210m)
The little road goes down in serpentines to Vila da Rª Brava over the Rua de Pened'.
