Hikers and Tourists prefer Ponta do Sol on the island of Santo Antão because of its impressive ocean-view and the constantly growing touristic small size infrastructur, cosy guesthouses and restaurants.

One of the most best liked hiking tracks, Nr 212, connects the town to Fontainhas and continues from there via Corvo - Aranhas - Forminguinhas to Chã de Igreja.

Free of a transit-road, the small administrative town with a strong fishermen community enjoys a quiet lifestyle.

A few meters before the Ocean-Road ends at an impressive viewpoint, you find Dirce's and Cecílio's B&B.
