happy to organize a shuttle service to fetch you
from the
ferry-boat
in Porto Novo and eventually bring your
luggage to their house while you start your stay
in Santo Antão
with a half-day hike down from the crater of Cova
de Paúl
to Cabo da
Ribeira (2+ hours).
Rooms
and the entire house are recently renovated, with
new equipment and a great view over the valley.
Three rooms share one shower / WC.
For
breakfast and relaxing there is a shaded penthouse.

Manuel Santos is the starting point of serveral
of the most beautiful hikes on the island of Santo
Antão, why guests frequently prefer
to stay for half a week or a week. Local guides
for the more difficult trails can be contracted.
There
are small shops near by, but supermarket, bank, hospital
and post-office are to be reached by bush-taxi (ALUGUER)
in half an hours ride.
