This
modern familiar guesthouse with only a few bedrooms
is located next to the ruins of the 18th century
castle
watching
over the harbour bay. Most guestrooms enjoy the seaview
in direction of the city-beach Laginha,
the bird's islet Ilhéu dos Passarinhos with
the gigantic skyline of Santo Antão in the
background.
To
Rua Lisboa, the very center of Mindelo town,
as well as to the ferry harbour from where the boats
go to Santo Antão,
it is five minutes by taxi.
All
rooms have private shower / WC, Air Condition, and
a spacious secretary. Rooms for families provide
an extendable sofa to accommodate up to 4 people
per room.
Facilities
are managed by highly trainded staff, able to arrange
for a variety of touristic services
on request.
Especially
comfortable are the
spacy and cosy living room / restaurant,
a work-out station and TV room where guests can listen
to a variety of CDs, and a terrace overlooking the
bay.
